Starting in version 3.1 of the theme is the option to select a blog layout.  This controls how your articles are displayed on your blog page. The choices here are standard full-width, 2-column masonry and 3-column masonry. Utilizing the masonry layouts allows your blog posts to be displayed stacked in columns and they fill in to fill empty space between posts. Note that even if you choose a 3-column masonry layout, on smaller devices, it will default to two columns in order to adequately fit the text.
